For them to walk in Her eternal darkness, that was Her wish. A cheeky counter-suggestion by the Wood Aspect made Her laugh, and She settled for one person to step into the shadows - a sacrifice of sight split between the two of them. For a brief moment, Ilyanka considered something else, a gift of blood to save them from giving anything of their own... but she could not stomach the thought, not even if the man whose head she would have offered to Her served the Mad Sun. It would have gone against her honour.
He had already agreed and finally she nodded her head. Her cloak of darkness went over them. Once they opened their eyes, She was gone and so was the night, taking the sight from Ilyanka's left eye and Kaza's right with Her.
