Painting of a Daybreak caste Abyssal, from the White Wolf role-playing game Exalted. This is the first time I've painted with natural medium in years and years... so this is sort of a practice piece. I like how the background turned out, but I don't like the figure that much, she's rather crookedy in many places.

Anyway... done onto canvas board with oils and acrylics, scanned in pieces and put together in Photoshop. Inspiration came from staring at * mooncalfe's works. He does the most amazing art for Exalted. *bows deep*

she reminds me of delirium from the sandman comics... except, she's not as distant, and disconnected... she seems to know exactly what she's doing. Good job.
