Acrylics are the baaaaaaane of my art existance, I have no idea how you can use them so smoothly. Loving that patterning, and how the horse fades into the black of D's cloak.
Here's a tip on acrylics: buy miniature paints (I use Vallejo and Citadel paints). Seriously, they're much better than regular acrylics, you can do much more detailed stuff with them as they don't gunk up so easily. Miniature brushes are wonderful too, small enough for those little details. Miniature paints are more expensive kinda, but I think it's worth it.
